Announcing the closure, Sephora issued a statement, saying: “Following a strategic review of our retail network in the UK, we are closing our two Jersey stores, historically belonging to Feel Unique, that were acquired in 2021.
“We are very grateful to the 19 team members who have been working in these stores for the contribution they have made, and we are committed to respectfully supporting them through this transition.”
Express understands that the town store will be closing first, with the Les Quennevais store to follow.
It was also confirmed Guernsey’s Sephora shop will currently remain open.

The brand switchover happened in October 2022, with Jersey and Guernsey becoming the first places in the British Isles to have physical Sephora stores in more than 20 years.
