Reports suggest a deal could be announced as early as this week.

FeelUnique, which has three Channel Islands stores, was founded in Jersey by Aaron Chatterley and Richard Schiessl in 2005.

In 2011, it bought the high street’s Au Caprice.

Palamon Capital Partners then bought 56% of the business in 2012 for £26million. In 2017, they were said to be investigating a sale of the company.

In January, the company predicted sales to top £100m.

The Times characterised the purchase of FeelUnique as marking Sephora’s “first big push into the UK.”

Sephora, which is owned by French luxury goods company LVMH, has more than 2,600 stores in 35 countries.
