Gage James Saville appeared in the Magistrate’s Court where he was charged with one count of malicious damage, one of criminally breaking into and entering the building and one of resisting arrest.

The charges relate to an incident which took place in the early hours of Christmas Eve.

Mr Saville was represented by Advocate Adam Harrison.

Assistant Magistrate Peter Harris presided over the hearing and decided that it was outside of his jurisdiction, ordering the case to be heard in the Royal Court.

Mr Saville was released on conditional bail before his next appearance in the Magistrate’s Court on 17 January 2020 ahead of his case being formally sent to the Royal Court on 7 February.
