Two fire engines and nine firefighters were dispatched after receiving a 999 call around 21:00.

While the crews made their way to the property in Trinity, the Fire Service reported: “It was clear that water supplies to the area were very limited.” A water carrier and an extra firefighter from Red Watch were called to help with the shortage, as well as an on-call firefighter.

The fire in an outbuilding was quickly brought under control and crews remained on the scene making it safe until 23:00.

It’s believed the fire was started by an electrical appliance in a boiler room.

No one was reported to be hurt in the incident.
