The Jersey Fire and Rescue Service as well as States police and Ambulance Service personnel were called to a fire at the site of a former hotel in Bouley Bay this morning.
JFRS asked people to avoid the area while it dealt with the incident.
A spokesperson for the States police told Express that the fire was at the former Water’s Edge Hotel site and that no one had been injured.
In an update this afternoon, JFRS said it had left the scene and the surrounding roads had been reopened.
The cause of the fire is being investigated.
