The headline act for a charity event which will see Islanders try their hands at stand-up has been announced.
Award-winning comedian Luisa Omielan will headline and host the inaugural charity event in 2026, thanks to the support of headline sponsors, Integritas Wealth.
She will take to the stage at The Royal Yacht on Wednesday 1 April 2026 for ‘Do you think you’re funny. The White Collar Comedy Graduation’. She will host the night and close the show, supporting ten local participants as they perform their first ever stand-up routines.
White Collar Comedy Jersey will see Islanders – all complete beginners – take part in an eight-week training programme designed to turn them into confident performers.
The participants will receive comedy coaching, confidence-building sessions, mentoring and guidance on stage presence, before putting their new skills to the test in a live show.
Each performer will deliver a five-to-ten-minute routine, with the event acting as a fundraiser for Jersey Employment Trust, which supports people with disabilities and long-term health conditions into work.
Event organiser Kiley Henley said: “We are absolutely thrilled to have Luisa Omielan on board as our headline act and host. Her energy, warmth and ability to connect with audiences make her the perfect fit for an event that is all about confidence, courage and having a laugh for a great cause.”

Tickets are priced at £65 which includes an arrival drink, tapas style dinner and entertainment all evening, with all proceeds going directly to Jersey Employment Trust. Tickets are available from Island Ticket Hut.
