Leading figures from the charity, finance, HR and medical worlds have been appointed to Jersey Hospice Care’s Council of Trustees.
The charity announced the recent appointment of three trustees: Haydn Taylor, Dr Julie Le Cornu and Heidi Gibaut.
Mr Taylor, the latest to join the Council of Trustees, is the chairman of Titan Wealth in Jersey and was previously Chair of the British Heart Foundation’s Jersey branch.
The Chair of the Council of Trustees, Goetz Eggelhoefer, said he was “delighted” to appoint Mr Taylor, citing his “extensive leadership experience in financial services, combined with his strong commitment to the community”.
He added: “It is vital to the future of Jersey Hospice Care that we have a strong Council of Trustees who can provide strategic leadership and exemplary corporate governance and I am thankful that I am surrounded by such high-calibre, dedicated volunteers.”
Mr Taylor will be joining two more recently appointed trustees.
Dr Le Cornu is a GP and has worked in Jersey, the UK, Australia and has done outreach work in the Amazon. Ms Gibaut is Group Executive Director at the Law at Work Group, bringing her HR experience to the charity.
