An investigation is under way after a child managed to leave a school holiday club unattended.
Following queries from Express, Education Minister Catherine Curtis confirmed the child was found “unharmed”.
They were returned to the school following assistance from a member of the public, police and staff.
Deputy Curtis said: “We are aware of an incident at a school holiday club where a child managed to leave the premises.
“The child was found unharmed and returned to the school. We would like to thank the member of the public, as well as the police and staff for their prompt assistance.
“As investigations into the incident are ongoing, it would not be appropriate to comment further at this stage.”
