The gathering, organised by Jersey Hospice Care, aimed to offer a moment of reflection and shared remembrance.
Anya Nightingale-Bataille, Events and Fundraising Assistant for the charity, said: “It’s wonderful to be able to give back to the community and see everyone gathered together to honour and remember their loved ones.
“It looked beautiful and the feedback we got from people who attended was really touching and makes us proud of everything we do at Hospice.”
Candles on the Beach was launched last year, with the inaugural event attracting around 300 people.
