Islanders are being reminded to comply with road signs after 12 motorists were reported during rush hour on Monday for ignoring a “road closed” sign on Bagatelle Road.
The perpetrators will now face a Parish Hall Enquiry and a potential fine of up to £200.
In a post on social media, St Saviour’s Honorary Police said: “Today, and the rest of the week, we will continue to stop and report any drivers who choose not to comply with the correct temporary road layout.

“Please obey the highway code and avoid getting a fine.”
Work is underway to install a new signal-controlled pedestrian crossing on Bagatelle Road, just south of the junction with Les Varines.
Phase one started on Saturday 14 February and is due to run over the half-term period until Sunday 22 February.
This has resulted in lane closures on Bagatelle Road, and there is no access onto Bon Air Lane and Wellington Road.
“The junction is closed for safety and not merely to inconvenience your journey,” the Honorary Police added.
