A man was taken to hospital needing stitches after an alleged assault in St Helier last weekend.
Police are seeking witnesses to the incident, which took place between 23:35 and 23:50 on Sunday 26 October near the junction of Poonah Road and Aquila Road.
In an appeal for information, the force said: “A 54-year-old male was walking towards his home address during which he was assaulted by an unknown male after a spontaneous argument had occurred between them.
“This resulted in the victim receiving a cut to his forehead which required stitches at the hospital.”
