A man required hospital treatment for a head injury yesterday after being “assaulted with an unknown object” in the male changing rooms of the Lido.
Police are appealing for information about the incident, which occurred at around 07:00 on Tuesday 18 March.
The force believes there may have been sea swimmers present who saw what happened.
The alleged victim attended hospital with a head injury, and the suspect was arrested later after handing himself in at the police station.
Police said the suspect was wearing hi-visibility orange trousers and a blue jumper, and was carrying a yellow JD Sports bag.
