The route for this year’s scaled-down Battle of Flowers event has been revealed, with two free parades set to take place in St Helier town centre in August.
This year’s celebration will feature over 20 floral floats up to 30ft in length, alongside bands, dance troupes, and local entertainers.
The two free parades will take place on 8 and 9 August, subject to permission from the Bailiff.
The day parade will start at 13:00 on Friday 8 August, whilst an illuminated floats and firework finale will feature during the evening parade from 19:30 on Saturday 9 August.
Discussions are underway to return the parade to its home on Victoria Avenue for 2026, which will enable the reintroduction of the 45ft floats.
A spokesperson for the Battle of Flowers (Parades) Ltd said: “We are a new team, brimming with enthusiasm for the future of the Battle of Flowers.
“This August is about celebrating our incredible community and the enduring spirit of this unique festival and keeping it alive.
“We’re focused firmly on the road ahead – revitalising the event, ensuring its sustainability, and creating even more magical moments for Jersey and our visitors.
“Subject to final Bailiff’s permission, we invite everyone to join us for these two special one-off free parades as we embark on this exciting new journey together!”
