Alongside this, they keep a flock of around 100 Texel X sheep, and last year made the decision to open their children’s farm to the public under the name of Sheep Shed Jersey.
But now the business has bloomed even further via its roadside stall behind Glencoe Auctions.
As well as offering its eggs and “grab-and-go” bouquets, the stall is now inviting islanders to try their hand at floristry with a new ‘build your own bouquet’ section.

Shoppers can select the blooms they use to create their own beautiful bunch of chemical-free, locally-grown flowers before tying it off with twine. The blooms are all 50p to £1.
Since announcing the new initiative, the idea has been received with enthusiasm from islanders on social media, with one commenting: “This is the most beautiful thing I’ve seen this morning!”
Others described the idea as “stunning”, “fabulous” and “lovely”. One commenter even said she hoped it could be expanded to other parishes.
