Springfield gym has reopened after being damaged during Storm Goretti – but scaffolding remains up around the site.
Infrastructure and Environment stated: “Storm Goretti caused damage at our Springfield site, with the gym being the most affected area.
“A large high-level window was blown out during the storm, which required us to keep the gym closed until it could be made safe and boarded up.”
Internal scaffolding has now been installed on the premises.
All other facilities reopened from 9:00 on Friday morning.
