The organisers need another 30 people to help with the cycling and running part of the big race on Sunday 10 July.

This year’s event is the qualifying race for Jersey’s 2017 Island Games and around 400 people are signed up to take part with just over a quarter competing from overseas.

The race will start and finish at Les Jardins de la Mer, and will involve a swim in front of Elizabeth Castle, a bike route to the west of the island, and a running course round the Jersey waterfront.

You don’t need to have marshalled before, just free for up to four hours on Sunday 10 July and over 18.

If you can help, get in touch with the organisers via email at info@jersey-triathlon.com or by giving them a call on 505926.
