Two Guernsey players are part of the ICC Europe Men’s U23 squad which is preparing to face an MCC side at Lord’s.

Luke Bichard and Charlie Forshaw are joined in the squad by Charlie Brenann and Theo Pullman from Jersey, alongside players from the Netherlands, Denmark, Italy and Scotland.

The one day clash against the MCC will take place on 11 April from 10:30.

“This match is not only a celebration of emerging cricket talent but also an opportunity for platers to gain valuable experience on one of the world’s most prestigious grounds,” an ICC spokesperson said.

“The MCC will provide great opposition for the European talents looking to make their mark on the big stage.”
