The week long sailing event has seen Team Guernsey win Bronze at the Orkney Island Games.
Having competed throughout the week, the team of Monty Desforges (pictured top – George Marriott), Jessica Watson, Darragh Lee, and David Aslett secured their third place finish yesterday.
They scored a cumulative 178 points throughout the week – to finish behind Ynys Mon in second with 146 points, and the Isle of Wight in first place with just 62 points.
Individually, the Sarnian sailors performed strongly throughout the week.
Desforges finished 5th with 45 with Watson just behind him in 6th place overall with 48 points.
The older two members of Guernsey’s sailing squad finished 7th and 11.
Lee secured 61 points and Aslett 93.
