Guernsey has a number of athletes competing in finals at The Pickaquoy Centre in Orkney today.
The 800m men’s and women’s events take place this lunchtime with 4 x 100m and 4 x 400m relay finals taking place later on.
Guernsey’s Nicholas Ackerman (pictured top – Oliver Kidman) is among the runners donning green today.
The half marathons took place this morning with strong performances from Guernsey’s men.
Individually Sammy Galpin, James Priest, and Ethan Woodhead came 4th, 10th and 17th respectively to claim the team Bronze medal.
Nix Petit, Sarah Eagles, and Vanessa King came 10th, 12th, and 18th respectively in the women’s event with Alderney’s Rose Evans coming 15th.
Last night saw Vicky Hancock adding to her personal haul of medals with a Bronze in the 100m Hurdles.
Rhiannon Dowinton came 1st to win the Gold medal in 14.53.
Chris Bain bettered his placing from Guernsey 2023 to win the 5000m Men’s race in 15:13.55.
