Standard Bank Head of International Trust makes top 200 list

Thursday 14 January 2016

Helen Wilson, Global Head of International Trust and Fiduciary at Standard Bank in Jersey, has been identified as one of the most powerful women in international finance.

Ms Wilson is one of 200 ‘trailblazers’ across 25 jurisdictions who appear in the Citywealth IFC Power Woman List 2015, which has just been published.

Along with her fellow ‘Power Women’, Ms Wilson has been praised for promoting business excellence and enhancing the reputation of the financial services industry globally.

Citywealth magazine, which compiled the list after receiving recommendations from leading figures in the industry, said that the 200 women were “confident, result orientated, innovative and have high emotional intelligence, kindness and integrity”.

Will Thorp, Island Head: Standard Bank Jersey, said: “Helen has made a significant contribution to Standard Bank since she joined us last year and being identified in this way is a great accolade both for her and the Bank. It is richly deserved.”

Ms Wilson, who is a qualified solicitor, has extensive offshore and City of London experience.
