Guernsey Chamber of Commerce is fitting out its first-floor and basement with professional co-working spaces.
The new spaces, designed in partnership with POS Interiors, will offer both first-come-first-serve and bookable spaces.
Renovations and booking systems testing are happening now in time for its launch in the autumn.
Drop-in hot desks, open meeting booths and its welcome area will be free to use for Chamber members.
Its bookable spaces will be able to be rented for a pay-as-you-go price in half-day blocks.
There will be a co-working subscription of £200 a year, which gives subscribers use of the spaces within a fair-use policy.
A spokesperson said the space would give members practical support in leading their businesses, as well as showcasing the benefits of considered workplace design to support productivity and focus.
