Food lovers are in for a treat this weekend as the Delicious Jersey Food Festival returns to Weighbridge Place following a successful debut event last year.

More than 8,500 people attended the festival across two days in 2025, sampling a wide variety of local food and drink.

Organisers say this year’s event will be even bigger, with a greater number of cafés and restaurants participating to showcase Jersey’s rich culinary heritage.

The festival kicks off at 11am on Saturday and will feature a packed programme, including live cooking demonstrations.

Visitors can also enjoy live music, an educational area, and a farmers’ and produce market highlighting the island’s best ingredients.

Ana and Marcus Calvani, co-chief executives of the Jersey Hospitality Association, said they were excited to bring the event back.

“We are delighted to bring this celebration of Jersey’s world-famous food culture, hopefully in glorious Spring sunshine, to the Island this weekend,” they said.

“Our local chefs have been busy creating some mouth-wateringly good dishes and we have double the number of participating restaurants and cafés this year.”

The Calvanis added that while last year’s festival focused on the countryside, this year’s event will also highlight Jersey’s seafood offering.

“It’s an incredible opportunity to sample the flavours from the land and sea all in one place,” they said.

The educational area – hosted once again by the Royal Jersey Agricultural and Horticultural Society – will give visitors the chance to meet local farmers and fishers, interact with livestock, and learn more about preparing food using local ingredients.

Organisers also welcomed the return of Steven Lamb, who is known for championing sustainable, locally sourced food.

“He’s a huge fan of Jersey’s food culture,” the Calvanis said. “He’ll be using local produce in his demonstrations and interviewing guest chefs as they cook live in front of the audience.

“With so many respected chefs, producers and artisans in one place, it promises to be a fun – and delicious – way to celebrate our food.”

The Delicious Jersey Food Festival will take place on Saturday 25 and Sunday 26 April at the Weighbridge.

It starts at 11am both days, and runs until 7pm on Saturday and 5pm on Sunday.

Entry costs £2, which includes a festival cup to use at the bar and take home. Under-16s go free.
