Aurigny is making travel easier and more convenient by allowing travellers to check in online up to seven days before their flight. Previously, it was only possible to check in online 48 hours prior to departure.

Around 80% of Aurigny passengers take trips lasting up to seven days in duration. This means most travellers will now only need to check in once for both their outbound and return flights, avoiding the inconvenience of having to repeat the process.

The change is an outcome of Aurigny’s customer experience programme, which closely examines customer feedback to make improvements to its service. Other recent improvements from the programme have included an extended twilight check-in service, a new class-leading cabin baggage size and the introduction of Avi Ramps across more of the airline’s network.

Philip Smallwood, Chief Operations Officer, said: “We’re pleased to be able to help those travelling spend more time enjoying their short breaks and less time on check-in administration – it’s a small change, but it means one less thing to worry about for a significant number of those travelling with us.

“We’re committed to reviewing the customer experience and always making it better to fly with Aurigny, as far as we possibly can.”
