The Staples Ensemble is coming back to Guernsey on 18 August for an evening of favourite classical music at the Town Church.

The performance follows on from last year’s sold out night of Vivaldi’s Four Seasons.

Led by internationally renowned brother-and-sister violin duo, Samuel and Louisa Staples, the ensemble comes from a prestigious network of top-tier young classical instrumentalists.

This year members of the group come from, UK, Germany, Holland, Japan and Korea with all having award winning careers.

Members of the ensemble include, Coco Tomita, Eric Moon, Edgar Francis, Jobine Siekman, Toby White and Alexander Vorontsov.

The programme will include the best loved pieces of chamber music including; Vaughan Williams – The Lark Ascending, Mozart – Eine Kleine Nachtmusik and Felix Mendelssohn – String Quintet No. 2 in B flat major, Op. 87.

The performance is made possible by the sponsoring from Cazenove Capital alongside the marketing and organisational support from Guernsey Arts.

Admission to Town Church will start at 19:30 with a donation on the door.
