Dispute resolution specialists gather for new conference

Tuesday 26 March 2019

Over 15 local and international speakers will next week gather to share tips with local business leaders on how to "harness conflict" and "resolve problems whilst transforming wellbeing, performance and outcomes".

Organised by The Resolution Centre for Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR) in the Channel Islands and the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators (CIArb), the Resolution Conference will be taking place on 3 and 4 April at the Radisson Blu Hotel, Jersey.

The conference aims to get speakers to "inform, inspire and impart their wisdom in the world of ADR".

In addition to considering the power that comes from collaboration and communication, the speakers will tackle head on the ‘messy’ side of leadership.

The theme of the inaugural Resolution Conference has been described as "game-changing conversations, with a focus on human and technical factors related to achieving game-changing outcome".

The conference is aimed at leaders running a family business in any sector, leading a large corporate entity, going through merger, acquisition or under pressure to improve service delivery.

Howard Le Cornu, CEO The Resolution Centre said: “We’re excited to be working with the CIArb in delivering the first CIArb International ADR Conference in the Channel Islands. Our speakers will help leaders at all levels harness conflict into a creative abrasion, engaging people and resolving problems whilst transforming wellbeing, performance and outcomes.”
