A new and exciting opportunity has arisen for an Assistant Officer, to join our client Revenue team, on a temporary basis, for an initial period of 3 months. You will be first point of contact to customers contacting and visiting the department in order to answer queries, including international and policy queries, process assessments, determine liability and examine simple low value business accounts. The ideal candidate will have experience of working in an office or customer service environment, possess excellent numerical skills with the ability to work accurately with figures whilst under pressure. Good level of customer service including the ability to carry out negotiations and demonstrate a level of assertiveness when circumstances dictate to achieve a positive outcome is also essential for this role.
