Police investigate dog death on road

Tuesday 14 September 2021

Jersey Police are appealing for witnesses after a dog was killed by a vehicle on La Route de la Haule in St Brelade - the driver didn't stop.

In a statement released today, they say that the grey coloured greyhound slipped its lead around 18:50 on Thursday 9th September, and ran into the road.

The dog was hit by a passing vehicle, which didn't stop. The owners found the dog on the road with injuries and took him to the vet immediately, but unfortunately the dog died.

Police would like to speak with anyone who may have information about the incident, by calling 612 612, or anonymously via crimestoppers.
