Fête des Bêtes – Folk & Ceilidh
This weekend, join us to celebrate Mabon – the autumn equinox and midpoint between light and dark.
Opening up the weekend are the witty and endlessly funny ‘queens of the music hall’ The Ukuladeez before UK trad outfit Chimera rings out the ceilidh for the rest of the evening. Expect to laugh, dance and have plenty of cider.
On Saturday, The Space Pirates of Rocquaine, Clameur de Haro, and The Button Pushers will kick things off before our headline act We Are The Monster (previously seen at Sark Folk Festival as the Monster Ceilidh Band) close the night with big riffs and world-class folk music.
Throughout the evening you’ll be able to grab a dark ale and head down to The Pit. Songs and storytelling from the likes of The Basement Preachers, Jon Shaban, and Ash Jarman will be on offer for your ears only.
Do not miss out the chance to dance away the final days of summer before the leaves turn to rust and the nights draw to darkness!
Single evening ticket £25 | Weekend Tickets £35

Scruffy Boudloe – Kintsugi Workshop
Why not welcome in the month of October by learning a new craft?
Next Friday the 3rd of October from 6:30pm, you can head to Scruffy Boudloe for a fascinating Kintsugi Workshop!
Kintsugi is the Japanese art of repairing broken pottery by mending the broken pieces with lacquer dusted or mixed with gold, silver, or platinum. It literally means “golden joinery” or “golden repair”. Rather than hiding the damage, kintsugi highlights the repair, emphasizing the object’s history and creating a unique, more beautiful piece.
Come spend a relaxing hour or so learning this amazing art and create something beautiful. All materials will be supplied (including a choice of one piece of crockery) along with refreshments and the important snacks!
Please note that the finished piece should be used for decoration only as it will not be food safe.
