We’re only four weeks into the year, but already the Bailiwick has been hit by its second storm of 2026.

Luckily, Storm Ingrid didn’t cause anywhere near as much damage as Storm Goretti, although several events had to be cancelled because of safety concerns over strong winds.

However, the storm did give the Bailiwick’s photographers the chance to capture some stunning shots of the sea battering our coastlines on Friday.

We hope they were all using a long lense and wearing waterproofs when they took them, though!
