Every weekend, Express presents a selection of exhibitions, performances, workshops and more to help islanders get their weekly dose of culture.
Here’s this week’s offering…
RJA&HS Summer Country Fair

Islanders are being invited to spend the day at the Royal Showground in Trinity this weekend for a day of dog classes, prizes, craft stalls, cattle shows, Jersey ice cream, food, children’s activities and more…
The fair will open from 10am until 5pm on Saturday and Sunday, with free parking available in the Showground carpark.
Everybody is welcome and no ticket is required – Islanders can just turn up.
La Fête Nouormand/The Norman Festival

Celebrating Jersey’s heritage, native speakers of Jèrriais from Normandy, Jersey and Guernsey, will be on King and Queen Street from 11:15am on Saturday 13 June.
There will be poems, songs, and dancing up and down town.
Moonlight Walk

From 9pm on Saturday night, islanders are invited to join Jersey Hospice Care for a 5k “half moon walk” or a 10k “full moon walk”.
The 10k walk begins at St Brelades parish hall and follows the seafront down to La Fregate, allowing for a water stop befpre walking back to St Brelade’s parish hall for tea and cake.
The 5k route also begins at St Brelades parish hall and follows the seafront to layby 7, which is opposite Coronation Park, and back to St Brelades parish hall, also for tea and cake.
Volunteer marshals will be dotted along the route, and walkers are advised they can park at St Brelades College, but not the spaces on the right upon entrance as they are private.
Tickets are available here and cost £10 for adults and £5 for juniors, with funds going towards Jersey Hospice Care.
June’s Family Day

June’s Family Day is set to be hosted at Jump Jersey this Sunday, 14 June, from 11:30am.
The family days, organised by Autism Jersey, are creared to offer autistic families to enjoy fun activities, amongst like-minded people.
Sunday’s family day will offer a trampolining session.

Port-au-Prince and it’s Sweet Night

Port-au-Prince and its Sweet Night is set to be presented by French theatre company Compagnie Les Vents se Levent as part of ArtHouse Jersey’s Summer Series this Friday and Saturday, from 7:30pm.
It will be performed at ArtHouse Jersey at Capital House on 3 and 4 July 2026 at 7:30pm, with French and English surtitles.
The award-winning play by Haitian writer Gaëlle Bien-Aimé follows lovers Zily and Ferah as they navigate love, loss and in Port-au-Prince. A post-show discussion will take place following the performance.
