Channel Islands Pride 2026 is here, celebrating 10 years of the event in Guernsey!
Over the course of the weekend, there is an exciting and varied lineup of events taking place across the island!
Start your Pride Weekend this Friday the 11th with an evening of laughter, live entertainment and a healthy dose of fabulous chaos, with the Queer Comedy & Cabaret Night at The Peninsula.
A pride themed breakfast follows the next morning at The Peninsula, with more drag, laughter and fabulous entertainment taking place on Saturday the 12th of September.
The gathering for the parade will take place later on in the day. From 1.00pm, Market Square comes alive as thousands of people gather for the start of the weekend’s celebrations.

GAN presents: The Greenhouse Collective
Three Greenhouses. Three Weekends. One Exhibition Celebrating Guernsey’s Heritage.
This September, three historic Guernsey greenhouses will be transformed into temporary exhibition spaces, each hosting a weekend of contemporary art inspired by the island’s rich agricultural and cultural heritage.
“As housing pressures increase and the island’s landscape continues to change, we feel it is important to recognise and celebrate the value, history and character of Guernsey’s greenhouses. Once central to island life and agriculture, many now stand abandoned, gradually disappearing from the landscape.
Through art, we want to encourage people to look more closely at the lives, labour, stories and communities that once filled these spaces. By reflecting on our past, we hope to open up conversations around heritage, sustainability, our relationship with the land, and the future of our local communities.” – Guernsey Art Network
Their aim is to bring together a diverse group of local artists, each with their own creative practice, experiences and perspective. Their work will transform three historic greenhouse sites into temporary spaces for reflection, discovery and conversation.
Each weekend will offer visitors the opportunity to experience the artwork, learn more about the history of the individual sites and take part in activities connected to the exhibition. People involved with each site will also be on hand throughout the weekends to answer questions and share their knowledge and stories.
The Opening Night at The Gele vinery will take place this Friday the 11th of September from 5pm – everyone is welcome.
The evening will include a reading by Anna Stothard from her new book, The Girl in the Glasshouse, alongside refreshments and an opportunity to meet some of the artists and people involved in the project.
The exhibition at The Gele will then be open to the public this weekend, Saturday the 12th and Sunday the 13th September, between the hours of 10am and 4pm. Free to attend.
Dance Classes – Salsa + Bachata
Learn to Dance Salsa with Heidi in Guernsey – How to lead & follow with turn patterns in social, friendly classes. Singles and couples welcome.
Taking place at Mojitos on Sundays throughout Autumn, this is your chance to try something new, keep fit and explore the joys of dancing!
The course starts this Sunday the 13th of September (or Sunday the 20th of September) at 4pm for drinks and a social! Registration will take place at 5:15pm, and dancing will begin at 5:30pm.

A Colourful Mind: An Exhibition by Luke Gallie
The latest exhibition at The Guernsey Art Greenhouse Gallery is now open! ‘A Colourful Mind’ by Luke Gallie is an exhibition featuring artworks in acrylic, watercolour and spray paint.
Using a variety of mediums, colour palettes, styles and aesthetics, Luke challenges and explores his own creative process. With a recent focus on magnified faces and animals, as a subject matter they allow him to experiment with an assortment of techniques honing in on colour, contrast and texture.
“As a professional tattoo artist for over a decade, my job everyday is to make art based on my clients requests. So painting came as a form of self expression and somewhere I could really experiment with different aesthetics and moods. Art to me is truly everything, my career, my main interest in life and something that gives life meaning. I couldn’t make my art without the support of my family and friends, especially my beautiful wife Hannah who I dedicate this exhibition to.” – Luke Gallie
The gallery is open from 10am-5pm. Normal museum admission applies – free for discovery pass holders.
