Express has partnered with the Jersey Hospitality Association for a new ’12 Cocktails of Christmas’ series, which will showcase festive drinks from bar staff across the island, giving readers the chance to try their favourite seasonal recipes at home.

The cocktail…

Deshawn from The Mulcaster has shared a refreshing drink that combines Jersey’s Indica Rum with fresh pineapple, ginger, and warm spices, offering a taste of the Caribbean to brighten up the holiday season.

Whether you’re recovering from New Year’s Eve celebrations or just looking for something light and festive, ‘Beat The Boat’ promises to transport you to a sun-soaked beach with every sip.

Deshawn, originally from Antigua and Barbuda, said: “This is my first Christmas away from home, so I wanted to bring a little piece of the Caribbean to Jersey.”
