A man was taken to hospital after being allegedly assaulted by two other men in the early hours of Saturday morning.
Police are appealing for information about the incident, which took place between 3.30am and 4.30am on Saturday 20 June in the area of La Mottee Street, near the junction with James Street and St Saviour’s Road.
It is reported that two men punched and kicked another man outside Bacchus Bar.
The alleged victim suffered swelling and bruising to his face, nose and body and required hospital treatment.
The two suspects are both described as being approximately 6ft tall with blonde hair. Police said one spoke with an English accent, while the other had an Irish accent.
One of the men is believed to have been shirtless, wearing beige shorts and carrying a black rucksack. The second is believed to have been wearing a white jacket and black shorts.
Officers are keen to hear from anyone who witnessed the incident, saw the men matching the descriptions, or has any information that could assist the investigation.
