An appeal for information regarding the owner of a dog found in St Brelade has been shared hundreds of times on social media.
The blind female dog, whose name is still unknown, was found near the Elephant Park and Lavender Farm area on Friday 15 August.
She was later handed into the Leodis Vets and is now in the custody of the JSPCA whilst the search for her owner continues.

Despite efforts to locate the dog’s owner, no one has come forward with any information.
Tracey Lee, one of the admins of the Lost Dogs in Jersey Facebook group, explained that she does not think the elderly and blind dog could have got very far before the owner noticed she was missing.
“Therefore it could be a possibility that the owner is ill at home and the little dog has managed to get out of the house,” she said.
Tracey added that search efforts have included sending posters to vets, enquiries with Jersey Post, and going door-to-door near the area where the dog was found.
The St Brelade Centenier also opened the Parish Hall on Saturday evening to check the Puppy Database.
A Facebook post about the dog has been shared almost 500 times and reached thousands of users.
Islanders are being urged to contact the JSPCA on 01534 724331 or the St Brelade Centenier on 01534 741175 if they have information regarding the identity of the dog or her owner.
