A bystander who is believed have recorded an alleged assault near the Royal Yacht this weekend is being urged to share the footage with police.

The incident took place in St Helier at around 02:00 on 5 October on Mulcaster Street.

A group of males allegedly tackled a man to the ground, before punching and kicking him in the head.

Officers believe a bystander may have recorded the incident on their phone, and are urging anyone with footage or information to come forward.
