Jersey Water began essential upgrades to the mains network in Conway Street today.
The works are expected to last around 10–14 days and aim to coincide with the Government of Jersey’s improvement programme for the area.
There will be road closures and diversions, but access to properties will be maintained at all times.
To minimise disruption in the town centre, the programme is being delivered in phases, with Jersey Water scheduled to undertake further works in Broad Street later in May.
Residents and businesses in the area have been contacted in advance, and Jersey Water will be providing regular updates throughout the work.
