Guernsey’s Alex Scott has missed out on a place in the England squad, but will travel to the USA with the squad for their opening friendlies.
Bournemouth midfielder Scott narrowly missed out on a place, but will be one of four players travelling to Florida to make up the numbers.
England manager Thomas Tuchel said he was “very grateful” to all the players who “helped us qualify” or took part in a camp.
“I called every player that was at least once with us, personally, to tell them my decision, even if it was a painful decision or it was a disappointing message,” he said.
Scott is not the only high-profile player to have missed out, with Real Madrid’s Trent Alexander-Arnold, Manchester City’s Phil Foden and Chelsea’s Cole Palmer all failing to make the plane.
Scott won the European Championships with England at under-19 and under-21 levels and was a key part of the Bournemouth team that secured European football for the first time in the club’s history.
The ex-Guernsey FC player received his first England call up last November, for the World Cup qualifiers against Serbia and Albania, but has yet to play for the team.
