The headline moment came in Guernsey where Jersey Women’s rugby side secured a historic 20-19 Siam Cup victory, marking their first away triumph in the competition and a perfect send-off for captain Katie De La Cloche in her final campaign leading the side.

Rozel Rovers Women also completed a superb treble-winning season with an emphatic 8-3 victory over Jersey Wanderers Women in the Sylvia Spinola Memorial Cup final, while St Peter Women defeated Sports Club of Jersey 5-1 in the Plate final.
Across the water, Jersey Bulls Girls Academy continued their outstanding debut campaign by defeating Bognor Regis 2-1 in the Sussex County Cup final thanks to goals from Evie Smilek and Kiera Wild.
Cricket also takes centre stage this week as Jersey made a perfect start to their ICC Men’s T20 World Cup Europe Sub Regional Qualifier campaign in Cyprus. Charles Perchard’s side defeated both Cyprus and Switzerland to strengthen their early qualification hopes. Jersey continue their qualifiers this week as they face France and Croatia.
