The initial phase of Alderney’s 2025 road resurfacing programme has now been completed by Ronez, the approved contractor.
Due to significant financial contributions towards the costs of the project received from some of the on-Island utility providers (Alderney Electricity Ltd and States of Alderney Water Board) this has allowed the contractor to extend the scope of resurfacing works beyond the original schedule.
At present, the programme is temporarily paused while Ronez awaits a further delivery of materials. It is anticipated that resurfacing works will resume in a couple of weeks, with the resurfacing of part of Longis Road expected to be completed by mid-November.
