Guernsey Fire and Rescue Service have had to put out a diesel car fire in an underground car park in town.
The service was called out on Friday night after the vehicle went up in flames in the garage on New Street.
Nine firefighters were dispatched to the scene where smoke was seen pouring out onto the street.
A spokesperson said crews put the fire out, and searched the surrounding offices to check for fire spread before a ‘Positive Pressure Ventilation fan’ was used to clear smoke logging.
There have been no reported injuries.
