The Warm Up is back with another packed weekend of Jersey sport on the horizon, with English sporting giants, international darts and plenty of local action all on the agenda.
Archie Corbett and Elliot Corbel look ahead to a busy weekend, beginning with a particularly exciting hockey fixture on the cards.
Jersey’s Over-35s make their England Hockey Men’s Over-35 Cup debut against Southgate Hockey Club – one of England’s oldest and most successful clubs, dating back to 1886.
The Jersey Bulls have a rare home double header in store. The Men’s side face Ascot United tomorrow after a midweek fixture packed with action, while James Querée is unavailable and Harry Curtis is cleared to feature.
The Bulls Women are also back at Springfield for the first time in what feels like forever, hosting Walton & Hersham at 2pm on Sunday.
Jersey Rugby return home to face Colchester, with Guy Thompson and George Willmott both back in the squad, while the Royals continue their Sussex 3 campaign against Hastings & Bexhill.
The 21st edition of the Standard Chartered Jersey Marathon also takes centre stage on Sunday, while the team discuss the latest from the WDF Europe Cup in the Faroe Islands, where a host of Jersey darts players are representing the island.
With the Europe Cup reaching its final stages, the remaining singles and pairs events provide plenty to follow, with live scores available through DartConnect.
And, as ever, there’s plenty of local football and hockey to get through, with the Jersey Dog Club Challenge Cup and a full weekend of domestic fixtures also on the agenda.
