Home buyers are about to see a new set of ‘for sale’ signs pop up over the island – with a distinctive purple-and-black ‘cherry’ logo on them.

Cherry Godfrey Property has officially launched, following its takeover of long-established Guernsey estate agency Mawson Collins.

A spokesperson said the milestone brought together the firm’s “wider capabilities” with Mawson Collins’ “trusted local expertise”.

Mike Collins, Group Director of Property, said it was “very much business as usual”.

“We are the same team, in the same office, doing what we’ve always done – supporting people across the Guernsey property market.”

Tanzy Cherry, Chief Operating Officer, said the launch marked a “fantastic milestone”.

She added: “We’re already trusted for finance, mortgages and insurance, and bringing property into the mix allows us to continue to offer something that feels more traditional, where our customers can access everything they need from one company, with a personal, face-to-face relationship they can rely on.”

The company has also launched a brand-new website, making it even easier for people to “explore properties, access services and connect with the team”.
