Amazon has announced a new offer to lure customers onto its Prime membership scheme – the chance to get their Fire TV Stick streaming device for £9.99.
The Stick is a smaller version of their Fire TV streaming box, and normally costs £34.99. However the technology giant has revealed that anyone who signs up to Prime between Monday and 23:59 on Tuesday night can get the device with £25 off.
Amazon has been making big strides in hardware in the last two years, with Fire TV taking streaming by storm to such an extent the firm now has its own TV studio.
The next big show to come out of it is set to be the return of former Top Gear hosts Jeremy Clarkson, Richard Hammond and James May in The Grand Tour.
The Fire TV Stick deal comes just as a new ad starring Clarkson is set to air in the UK for the first time on Monday night.
The inclusion of drones in the ad is a further nod to something else Amazon is working on, with the online retail platform currently testing drone deliveries in the UK.
