Apple has always sparked debate when it comes to the pricing of its products.
When the iPhone was first announced, with no 3G and tied to one network but costing at least $399, Microsoft’s CEO at the time Steve Ballmer laughed off the device’s chances.
The company’s very first product, the Apple I computer, was put on sale for a sinister sounding $666.66 – though this was actually a nod to code-loving Steve Wozniak’s delight in binary patterns.
But what about some of Apple’s other big name products, if launched today, how much would they set you back?
We’re not sure how many people would be willing to pay nearly £800 for a Newton, but who wouldn’t still buy that iMac?
