Apple has revealed how scientists in the company’s lab produce synthetic human sweat to use in the testing process for new products.
As part of a series of animated videos released in the build up to Earth Day and created to highlight Apple’s green policy, the tech giant revealed that it creates its own sweat in order to test Apple Watch straps and earphones and their potential for use during exercise.
The short cartoons – which are a noticeable change from the clean, minimal adverts the firm is known for – also discuss the iPhone maker’s air conditioning system in its new Apple Park headquarters, as well as how it works to become 100% reliant on renewable energy and produce zero waste.
Each video also closes with the green leaf-laden Apple logo the company brings out for Earth Day each year.
Earth Day is on April 22.
