The new MacBook Pro comes with a very prominent new design feature, a thin touchscreen at the top of the screen called a Touch Bar.

Apple says it’s there to enable users to interact with their MacBook in new ways, as the Touch Bar works across most apps and can be used for editing, scrolling, payment (it has Touch ID built in) and, of course, emoji selection.

Apple also loves new adverts whenever new products come along and the one created for the new Pro is no exception, building on that theme that “ideas” are a big part of humanity.

From fire to gravity to robotics, ideas are the way humanity “pushes forward”, Apple says. It is in itself a nice idea, as is the shiny ad Apple have come up with to go alongside it.
