One of the most recognisable and undeniably soothing voices in Hollywood has been added to Google’s free navigation app.
In some exciting news for drivers who get frustrated with the, well, often irritating voices on some GPS systems, Waze now includes a Morgan Freeman option for when you need help getting somewhere new (or if you still can’t remember how to get somewhere you’ve been a million times – we’ve all been there).
Apparently the new feature ties in with advertising his new film London Has Fallen.
In that new film – the sequel to Olympus Has Fallen, also starring Gerard Butler – Freeman is vice president of America. So if you choose his voice on Waze, he addresses you as though you’re the president, of course. WHY has this only just come into our lives?
Download the app and voice for free here . But don’t get too used to having the voice of God (remember Bruce Almighty?) directing you – the voice is only available for a limited time.
