The Mayor of London has turned his hand to many things in the past, but now he’s joined the world of Minecraft to promote a new initiative aiming to make London the “gaming capital of the world”.
Boris Johnson took to the streets of a Minecraft London to explain the new programme – Games London – and how it plans to promote the city as a hotspot for investment.
The UK is already home to Rockstar North – the team behind Grand Theft Auto – and the aim of Games London is to continue growth in the capital, with a series of new events throughout the year to run alongside existing ones including the Bafta Game Awards.
