The latest figures from YouTube have revealed the most popular games on the video site for March, and Tom Clancy’s The Division leads the way.
The third-person shooter – which was released at the beginning of March – is set in New York in the wake of a virus outbreak that has crippled humanity, leaving the city a lawless place. You form part of The Division, a group looking to re-establish order, combating criminal activity and bringing the city back online.
The game not only came out ahead of Mortal Kombat X and Clash Royale, but according to YouTube it had the biggest first week of a new gaming franchise since they started tracking trends and the subjects users are making videos about.
Also coming an impressive fifth on the list despite not yet being launched was Dark Souls III, while UFC 2, the ever-popular Minecraft: Story Mode and Disney Infinity 3.0 also made the top 10 for the month.
