Dyson has sold heaters, fans and air purifiers on their own for some time now but the company’s latest device combines all three into one.
The Dyson Pure Hot + Cool Link is designed to be used all year round by keeping the home at a target temperature – whether that be with heat distribution in winter or with streams of cool air in summer.
The smart fan – which uses Dyson’s 360 degree glass HEPA filter – also automatically captures and purifies pollutants it detects in the air, such as pollution, pollen, mould, bacteria and odours.
It will then send live reports on the status of air quality, both indoors and outdoors, to the user via the Dyson Link app, developed for iOS and Android.
The fan, which comes in silver and blue, costs $599 (around £450) and will be available in the UK from September 5 at Dyson.co.uk.
